The Jesus People…
Living lives for Jesus, but lives against “church.” They met outside, in fields. No building, no pews, they just hung out and sat on the grass and listened to a message of love.
They were excited about what they were learning about, excited about the new life of love they were living. A life outside the “church” walls, a life outside of the confines of the “pretty people” of the institutions.
A life of joy. A life of freedom. For they knew the message, and they had no intention of going back to the system. “It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.” Galatians 5:1
They preach the truly revolutionary message of Jesus.
