David and Bathsheba
King David of Israel, the giant slayer. In Acts 13:22, Luke tells us “God testified concerning him: ‘I have found David son of Jesse, a man after my own heart;”
But David was by no means a perfect man. And one of his greatest failures was the taking of the woman Bathsheba, whose husband, Uriah, he had killed in order to have her.
Here, Kyle McCallum, of Kent State University and NEO Xenos, voices over parts of the 1985 movie “King David,” to give us a humorous explanation of the “Bathsheba situation.”
